Terms of Use..

Effective 22 April 2026 · The terms on which Consumers Voice Ghana operates the platform at consumersvoiceghana.com.

1. Agreement

By using this website, submitting a voice-out, entering the awards, nominating a company, or otherwise engaging with Consumers Voice Ghana, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the platform.

2. What the platform is

Consumers Voice Ghana is an independent research and brand recognition platform. It publishes consumer-generated opinions and our own research findings. It does not provide business recommendations tailored to any individual; it does not guarantee the accuracy of any specific user submission; and it is not a substitute for professional advice.

3. Your submissions

When you submit a voice-out, nomination, or any other content:

  • You warrant that the content is true to the best of your knowledge
  • You warrant that you have not been paid, coerced, or coordinated with others to make the submission
  • You warrant that the submission is not defamatory, misleading, or abusive
  • You grant Consumers Voice Ghana a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use the submission for the purposes of research, anonymised publication, and any related lawful purpose
  • You acknowledge that Consumers Voice Ghana may reject, edit, anonymise, or remove submissions that breach these terms

Defamatory content, coordinated manipulation, and submissions from banned parties are removed. Repeated breach results in permanent ban.

4. Ratings and publications

The rankings, pillar scores, and award determinations published on this platform reflect our methodology applied to the data we have gathered. They are opinions formed in good faith after reasonable research. They are not statements of fact about the overall merit of any rated company, and they should not be relied upon as a substitute for the user's own due diligence.

If you are a rated company and you believe your data has been misreported, please see Section 11 of the Charter for the dispute procedure.

5. Top 3 Ghana certificates

Winners receive a printed certificate and a digital badge. Use of the name "Top 3 Ghana", the certificate, or the badge is governed by our brand usage rules (available to winners in the winner's pack). Permitted uses include factual statement of the award, display on premises, and use in marketing collateral for a period of 12 months following the award year.

Unauthorised use — including by former winners claiming current standing, by non-winners asserting award, or by any party forging certificates — is a breach of these Terms and may constitute forgery under the Criminal Offences Act, 1960 (Act 29).

6. Intellectual property

All content on this website — text, graphics, data, methodology documents, and the Top 3 Ghana visual identity — is owned by Consumers Voice Ghana or licensed to us. You may not reproduce, republish, or distribute without our written permission, except for personal non-commercial use and fair-use quotation in journalism or academic work (with attribution).

7. No fees

Consumers Voice Ghana does not charge any fee for: using this website, submitting a voice-out, submitting a nomination, entering the awards, being considered for deliberation, or receiving an award. Any person requesting payment from you on our behalf is committing fraud — please report to [email protected].

We do license the use of the digital badge to winners under a nominal annual fee. This is our only direct charge to a rated company, and it applies only after an award has been decided on its merits.

8. Prohibited conduct

You may not:

  • Submit false, misleading, or defamatory content
  • Coordinate submissions on behalf of a rated company
  • Offer any person payment or inducement in exchange for ranking outcomes
  • Attempt to access research data, deliberation records, or staff communications by any means
  • Scrape the website or systematically harvest the data
  • Use the platform to harass or threaten any person or company

9. Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by Ghanaian law:

  • We provide the platform "as is" and disclaim warranties of merchantability or fitness for any particular purpose
  • We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or loss-of-profit damages
  • Our total liability to any user for any claim is capped at one hundred Ghana cedis (GH₵100), being nominal consideration for use of a free platform
  • Nothing limits liability that cannot be lawfully limited (gross negligence, wilful misconduct, fraud)

10. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Ghana. Any dispute is submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ghana, sitting in Accra.

11. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes are notified at the top of this page with a new effective date. Continued use of the platform after a change constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
