Top 3 Ghana is Ghana's annual independent brand recognition programme. Each cycle, in each of 44 industry categories, three winners are identified:
Winners are determined through a nine-pillar methodology applied across four independent research streams — consumer voices, mystery shopping, public reputation review, and sector expert panels. The process is governed by the Governance Charter v1.0 and audited annually by an independent statistician.
After three consecutive Gold wins in the same category, a company earns the Category Benchmark distinction — a rare permanent recognition. The Benchmark seal appears on the certificate for the third Gold and every subsequent Gold, until the company either declines a cycle or loses a pillar assessment.
Category Benchmark distinctions are extremely rare. As of the 2025 cycle, only seven companies across all 44 categories hold the Benchmark seal.
